Carroll Merryman, 74, of Weatherford, Texas passed away on April 14, 2015 in Arlington, Texas. A memorial is scheduled for Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 3:00 pm at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. He was born on January 13, 1941 to C. C. and Ruby Thorpe Merryman in Hearne. He graduated from Hearne High School in 1959 and served his country in the U.S. Navy. He married Ethel Mae “Bunk” Hutchins Currie and helped raise her 6 children. He could do just about anything but loved driving the big rigs and worked for many years as a truck driver for Murco Mud and Winn-Dixie. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ethel Mae “Bunk” Merryman; a brother, Lynn Merryman and 2 grandchildren. He is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law: J. C. and Betty Merryman and Glenn Dale and Sally Merryman. He is also survived by 6 stepchildren: Linda Mae, Ann, Charles, Nancy, Jackie and Harry Lee and their families, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
