
Monroe Lamar Kizzee, 70, of Duncanville and formerly of Franklin passed away Sunday, November 2, 2014 at V.A. North Texas Health System in Dallas. Monroe Lamar Kizzee was
born to Ira and Nora Kizzee in Franklin, Texas. He accepted Christ into his life at an early age. Monroe attended Morgan High School in Franklin where he played basketball. He was the best player on the team. He later joined the U.S. Army where he received an honorable discharge. Monroe married Donell Knight Kizzee in October 1964. To this union one son was born, Kelvin Lamar Kizzee. He held a job as a taxi driver and was a skilled carpenter
by trade. His father, mother, and several brothers and sisters preceded Monroe in death.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife Donell Kizzee, 2 sons: Kelvin (Veronica) Kizzee, Myron Marsh; 2 Daughters: Unique Kizzee, Nicole Porter; 14 grandchildren, 1 devoted brother; Bristow Kizzee; special niece, Betty Kizzee, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and
friends. Visitation was held at 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2014 at Glenn Mack Funeral Home. A celebration of life honoring Monroe Kizzee was held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday November 8, 2014 at North and South Cemetery in Franklin. Eulogy by Rev. Ben Spiller Sr.
