Johnny David Marlow

Johnny David Marlow, 68, of Hearne, Texas passed away on Friday, August 22, 2014 in Round Rock, Texas. He was born on March 7, 1946 in Pasadena, Texas to Andrew Jack Marlow and Nellie Becktold Marlow. He was a 1966 graduate of Franklin High School. He was most proud of his job in Huntsville as a correctional officer and was also employed as a backhoe operator on pipelines and traveled a lot of the time for work. Mr. Marlow was a life-long resident of Robertson County. He was preceded in death by his parents, longtime companion, Carol Miller; sister, Margie; brothers, Jackie and Roy; grandson, Cordell Cooper.

He is survived by: Daughters and Son-in-law – Judy and Edward Comfort of Hearne’ and Carla and Jerald Maynard of Aransas Pass, Step-Daughter–Dawn Barker of Hearne, Sons and Daughter-in-law–Robert and Elizabeth Miller of Gause and James Lohse Marlow of Calvert, Step-Sons and Step Daughters-in-law –John and Debbie Miller of Milano and Sonny and Teresa Miller of Hearne, Sister and Brother-in-law – Mary and Joe Davis of College Station, Cousin – Roy Kirby and 19 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Robertson County. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin, Texas.
